My Answers to Muslim Accusations Against Christianity #2

St. Peter’s Basilica, built in honor of St. Peter, a co-founder of Christianity in Rome

1. Why Christians eat pork when it is prohibited in Torah? (Deuteronomy 14:8)

[Deuteronomy 14:7-8] But of those that chew the cud or have a completely divided hoof, you are not to eat the following: the camel, the rabbit, or the rock badger.Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof. They are unclean for you, as well as the pig; though it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. It is unclean for you. You must not eat its meat or touch its carcass.

ANSWER: This law was made by Moses for the Jews only and not for all people. Christians are living under the law of Christ which is the New Covenant. Unknown to Islam and Christian sects, the Old Covenant (Judaism) was already canceled by God since the Israelites broke it. And He made a New covenant (which was brought by Jesus) that is for all people. This New Testament is everlasting, thus no more covenant after the the New Testament, or no more churches after Catholicism, kindly read;

[Jeremiah 31:31-32] “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a New Covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD

[Jeremiah 50:5] “They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come that they may join themselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.”

[Malachi 3:1] “And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the LORD of hosts.

[Luke 22:20] In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”

[Hebrews 9:15] For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

[Matthew 15:11] “A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.”

[Acts 10:13-15 ] Then a voice said to him: “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!” “No, Lord!” Peter answered. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” The voice spoke to him a second time: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

[Mark 7:18-19] “Are you still so dull?” He asked. “Do you not understand? Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him, because it does not enter his heart, but it goes into the stomach and then is eliminated.” (Thus all foods are clean.)

[1 Corinthians 10:25] Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience

FURTHERMORE, you Muslims should question your religion as well, because Allah commanded you to eat Camels while eating them is prohibited in (Deuteronomy 14:7), Allah commanded;

[Koran 22:36] “The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the signs from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful.”

2. Why Christian women don’t cover their heads when it is commanded in Corinthians 11:5-6?

[1 Corinthians 11:5-6] And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for it is just as if her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, let her hair be cut off. And if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.

ANSWER. The verse merely says that a woman should cover her head when she prays because it dishonor her head, for it is just as if her head were shaved. It doesn’t say that a woman should cover her head when she goes around the public as the Muslim woman does, because men might be attracted to her sexually. Besides, a Muslim woman is commanded to cover not only her head, but her whole body except the eyes, kindly read;

[Sahih Bukhari 1:4:148, Sahih Bukhari 8:74:257, & Hadith No. 148, Vol. 1]

Narrated ‘Aisha: The wives of the Prophet used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqia at Medina) to answer the call of nature at night. ‘Umar used to say to the Prophet “Let your wives be veiled,” but Allah’s Apostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam’a the wife of the Prophet went out at ‘Isha’ time and she was a tall lady. ‘Umar addressed her and said, “I have recognized you, O Sauda.” He said so, as he desired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be revealed. So Allah revealed the verses of “Al-Hijab” (A complete body cover excluding the eyes).

If you scan the Hadiths how the Hijab became implemented on woman, it was Umar who asked Muhammad eagerly to cover his wives. And amazingly, his prophet and Allah granted his request. In Christianity, there’s no compulsion for women if they don’t want to cover their heads while praying. God also commands us to worship Him in spirit (mind and heart) and not by the food, dress, appearance, or gesture.

3. Why Christians don’t fall facedown while praying when Jesus did it? (Matthew 26:39)

[Matthew 26:39] “Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

ANSWER: Whether you fall facedown or kneel while praying, it doesn’t matter to God. What more important is the contents of your heart and mind. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit [Deuteronomy 6:5 & John 4:24]. An action cannot transform your personality, feeling, thought, or faith. If a Muslim kneels while praying, it cannot make him a Christian. If Jesus was really a Muslim, Muhammad should have followed his commandments. Jesus teaches to love all the people including your enemy, don’t kill any man, marry only one wife, and don’t divorce her.

4. Why Christians don’t remove their shoes during prayer though God required it? (Exodus 3:5)

[Exodus 3:5] “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

ANSWER: The same as in question no. 3, an action or gesture doesn’t make you a true believer. God wants us to worship Him in spirit (mind and heart). Removing shoes is just a sign of respect, in the verse above, Moses did not pray. You can pray to God anytime and anywhere whether this place is considered holy or not.

5. Jesus said “do not worship me” (Revelation 22:9)

[Revelation 22: 8-9] And I am John, who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

ANSWER: The verse in Revelation 22:9 is not the words of Jesus, but it is from an angel, read its preceding statement (verse 8). it says;

[Revelation 22:8] And I am John, who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

Next time, check the verses first before raising it, ok? You Muslims don’t seek the truth, you just out there just to discredit the Bible. I will show you a verse from Revelation that says Jesus is God;

[Revelation 21:6-7] He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

6. Jesus cannot be compared to God because he’s born of a woman (Job 25:4)

[Job 25:] “How then can a man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?

ANSWER: Yes it’s true, but the question is, did Jesus an ordinary man? Even your Koran testifies that Jesus is the spirit or word of Allah [Koran 19:17, 17:19, & 4:171]. He was born without a human father. When Jesus stayed in Mary’s womb, it’s not Jesus who became unclean by a woman, but the woman (Mary) became purified by Jesus with His holiness. Jesus is our purifier or cleanser [Malachi 3:3, Matthew 8:2-3, & Hebrew 1:3]. If Jesus was only a man, why is it in Islam he is the Judge on the last day? Isn’t only the king can judge in a kingdom? You Muslims should think twice about Jesus.

7. Jesus cannot be God because God is not a human being (Numbers 23.19)

King James Bible
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

New International Version
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

ANSWER: Again I ask you, was Jesus only a man? Put in mind that God is not a physical being, He is an unapproachable light, an energy, or a spirit. Can energy distribute its nature? Yes it can, the electricity for example can distribute and spread. There are electricity lights in America, Africa, Middle East, Asia, anywhere in the world. But these all electricity lights are one being? Yes. God can pour His spirit on all flesh [Joel 2:28]. He can send His spirit though he is present everywhere pls. read;

[Psalm 104:30] You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the earth.

: Notice also that the sent spirit is a creator, Jesus was the creator of the universe. Kindly read;

[Colossians 1:16] For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

:Jesus claimed that he came down from Heaven and was sent by the Father (source spirit). He says;

[John 6:38] For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me.

: Jesus was spirit of God that came down on Earth and took a human form. I will show verses telling Jesus is one with the Father;

[Isaiah 9:6] ”For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

[John 10:30]. Jesus said; I and the Father are one

[John 14:9-10] Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me?

[1 Corinthians 4:6] We are not to think of Jesus beside another person who is also God, but to think of the Father as being within Jesus, for He says, “the Father dwells in Me”

Additionally, you quoted [Numbers 23;19] telling God won’t tell a lie, is your Allah truthful? Isn’t he the best of the deceivers? [Koran 3:54]. The Bible says that Satan is the father of deceptions [John 8:44] the same attribute as your Allah.
