Much contradictions in QURAN

Allah boasts, Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions (4:82).

Ironically, the claim above is opposite in reality because the Quran indeed contains much contradictions. And even if we examine the Quran uncarefully, we can still spot errors therein. And take note it’s authored by only one person (Muhammad) who was supposedly inspired by God _this shows that he has no consistent mind. Aside from so many contradictions, there are many verses that are ignorant and superstitious. And also there are many verses that are repeated many times. Muslims regard the Quran as Muhammad’s miracle, words of God that descended from Heaven. Below are few of the numerous contradictions and errors found in Quran that the Muslims cannot explain.

1. Quran affirms that Allah and the God of Abraham are one. Quran says, none can change the word of Allah [6:115], How come Islam accused the Bible to be corrupted? It appears that Muslims don’t believe what Allah is declaring, that his word cannot be corrupted or changed.

[6:115] And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

2. [Quran 6:115 & 6:34] state that none can alter the words of Allah; But ironically in [2:106 & 16:101], Allah replaced His revelations with something better. This also shows that Allah’s words are unreliable and not divine.

[6:34] And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah . And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

versus

[2:106] None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?

[16:101] And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse – and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down – they say, “You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies].” But most of them do not know.

3. Allah claimed that he is God, (the all-wise, all-knower, and knower of the unseen). In verses [4:171 & 5:116], Allah thought that the persons in Trinity are “Jesus, Mary, and Spirit of Allah” (but in truth it is “God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit”). How come Allah failed to know the persons of Trinity? It turned out that he is the ignorant god. If Allah does not know a simple matter here on Earth, how much more on matters about spirit and heavens?

[4:171] O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not “Trinity” : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

versus

[5:116] And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

4. [Quran 12:39, 3:6, & 58:21] say Allah is almighty, strong, and wise, but Satan was able to sneak revelations to Muhammad [53:19-20]. It turns out that Allah has no control over Satan and Muhammad in uttering the Satanic verses

[3:6] It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

[58:21] Allah has written, “I will surely overcome, I and My messengers.” Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

versus

[53:19-20] So have you considered al-Lat and al-‘Uzza? And Manat, the third – the other one?

5. In [20:53 & 43:10], Allah says that the Earth is spread out like carpet or shaped flat, but in actual, the Earth is globular or circle. The all-knower Allah turns out to be ignorant Allah.

[20:53] [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants.

[43:10] (Yea, the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out, and has made for you roads (and channels) therein, in order that ye may find guidance (on the way)

6. [Quran 21:98] says Allah will destroy idolaters and other gods, but in [18:50], Allah himself commands his Angels to prostrate to Adam. It turns out that Allah pushed his Angels to commit idolatry against him. Since Allah’s Angels committed the sin of idolatry, therefore, they are to be thrown into the hellfire.

[21:98] Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.

versus

[18:50] And [mention] when We said to the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.

7. [3:45] tells Jesus is held in honor in the afterlife, But in [21:98] says, whatever you worship apart from Allah is fuel for Hell. Christians worship Jesus, so He will be fueled to Hell by Allah. It turns out that there will be no Jesus to be held in honor in the afterlife.

[3:45] Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah

versus

[21:98] Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.

8. [Quran 4:171 & 3:45] tells us that Jesus is a Spirit or Word of Allah; But [5:17] says that following Christ is a blasphemy, and Allah will destroy Christ. So it means Allah will destroy his own Spirit or Word?

[4:171] O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only a messenger of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His messengers, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one Allah; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector.

[3:45] Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;

versus

[5:17] In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: “Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every – one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things.”

9. In [66:12 & 21:91] Jesus is a Spirit of Allah breathed into Mary’s body, so Jesus is formed in the womb of Mary, But in [3:59], Jesus is created by Allah from dust and his word.

[66:12] And Mary, daughter of ‘Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.

versus

[3:59] Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was.

10. [Qur’an 2:62] says, those who believe in Qur’an, and follow Jewish Scriptures, and Christians will have rewards from their Lord; But [3:85] says non-Muslim cannot enter paradise

[2:62] Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] – those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness – will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

versus

[3:85] And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

11. [Quran 2:256] says, “let there be no compulsion in religion”, But [9:5] commands Muslims to slay the disbelievers if they don’t repent and establish worship for Allah”

[2:256] There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

versus

[9:5] And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

12. [5:5] it is lawful to marry a chaste woman among the people of the Book (Jews and Christians), But [2:221] says, “do not marry unbelieving woman”

[5:5] This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith – his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

versus

[2:221] And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember.

13. [6:121] says, do not eat the food that Allah has not mentioned and don’t obey suggested food by disbelievers, but [5:5] says, it is lawful to eat the food of Jews and Christians

[6:121] And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].

versus

[5:5] This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith – his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

14. In [4:153], Allah forgave Israelites for worshiping the calf, But in [4:48 & 4:116], Allah does not forgive those who worship gods

[4:153] The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, “Show us Allah outright,” so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.

versus

[4:48] Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

15. In [3:39], John is a confirmer of the word of Allah, but in [5:46 & 61:6] Jesus is the confirmer of the Word of Allah. Which of the two is the true confrmer?

[3:39] So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, “Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous.”

versus

[5:46] And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.

16. [2:107], says that Allah has no helper, But in [41:31], angels are ready to come down from Heaven to assist those who believe in Allah.

[2:107] Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?

versus

[41:31] We were your allies in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request

17. [4:158] states that Jesus is not dead and Allah took him up unto himself, but unfortunately, [19:33] says that Jesus will die and will be resurrected. What happened really to Jesus?

[4:158] But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise.

versus

[19:33] And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.”

18. [2:97] says Angel Gabriel is the one who revealed the Scripture or Quran, but in [16:102], it is the Holy Spirit who revealed the Quran.

[2:97] Say, “Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel – it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur’an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers.”

versus

[16:102] Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

19. [55:14] says man is created from a ringing clay; But [15:26 &28] tells, man is created from a sounding clay and black mud; But worse [20:55] says, man is made from earth or soil; But even worse [25:54] says, man is created from water; But worst [16:4 & 80:19] says, man is created from a sperm-drop; But even worst [96:2] states that man is created from a clot of blood; But even so worst [19:9, 19:67, & 52:35] state that, man is created from nothing. Which of these seven contradicting statements is true?

Contradicting verses;

[55:14] He created man of clay like the potter’s

[15:26] And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.

[20:55] From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time.

[25:54] It is he who has created man from water

[16:4] He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary.

[96:2] He created man from a clot of blood

[19:67] But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?

20. In [2:37], Adam was Islam believer; [2:132 & 3:67] states that Abraham was already a Muslim long time before Moses; [7:143] states that Moses is the first believer, and [39:12] states that Muhammad is commanded to be the first Muslim. Which of these four people is the true first Muslim?

Contradicting verses;

[2:37] And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.”

[2:132] And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.”

[7:143] And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You.” [ Allah ] said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me.” But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, “Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers.”

[39:12] And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims.”

21. [39:12] states that Muhammad is the first Muslim, but in [46:9], he states that he is not the first apostle. How can you be the first believer if you are not the first apostle?

[39:12] And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims.”

versus

[46:9] Say: I am not the first of the messengers, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you: I do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.

22. In [5:90], wine is prohibited in the world because it is the handwork of Satan, But ironically in [47:15 & 83:22-25], rivers of wine is the prize for the righteous in Heaven. So there will be drunkards in Heaven because of the handwork of Satan?

[5:90] O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.

[47:15] Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?

23. Islam believes the singularity of Allah, But in [2:34-35, 2:36-38, 45:16, 21:9, 6:6, 21:104, 51:47, 21;30, etc.] Allah is plural

[2:34] And (remember) when We said to the angels: “Prostrate yourselves before Adam.”. And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).

[2:36] But Satan caused them to deflect therefrom and expelled them from the (happy) state in which they were; and We said: Fall down, one of you a foe unto the other! There shall be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a time.

[45:16] And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

[21:104] The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

24. [7:54, 10:3, 11:7, & 25:59] clearly state that God created “the heavens and the earth” in six days. But in [41:9-12] the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days.

[7:54] Indeed, your Lord is Allah , who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah , Lord of the worlds.

versus

[41:9-12] Say, “Do you indeed disbelieve in He who created the earth in two days and attribute to Him equals? That is the Lord of the worlds.” And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures’] sustenance in four days without distinction – for [the information] of those who ask. Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, “Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion.” They said, “We have come willingly.” And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

25. Islam criticizes Christian for asking intercession from Saints so that God may forgive their sins, but [4:64] instructs Muslims to ask intercession from Muhammad so that Allah may forgive them.

[4:64] And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah . And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

26. What about Noah’s son? According to [21:76], Noah and his family is saved from the flood, and [37:77] confirms that his seed survived. But [11:42-43] reports that Noah’s son drowns.

[21:76] And (mention) Noah, when he called (to Allah) before (that time), so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood.

[37:77] And We made his descendants those remaining (on the earth)

versus

[11:42-43] And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], “O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers.” [But] he said, “I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water.” [Noah] said, “There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy.” And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.

27. [38:41] says that the source of calamity or evil in life is from Satan, but in [4:79], it is from Ourselves, and in [4:78], it is from Allah

[38:41] And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, “Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment.”

versus

[4:79] What comes to you of good is from Allah , but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness.

versus

[4:78] Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction. But if good comes to them, they say, “This is from Allah “; and if evil befalls them, they say, “This is from you.” Say, “All [things] are from Allah .” So what is [the matter] with those people that they can hardly understand any statement?

28. [2:256] says, “let there be no compulsion in religion”, But [2:191 & 9:5] command Muslims to slay the disbelievers if they don’t repent and establish worship for Allah”. And also those who will leave Islam will be killed [3:56].

[2:256] There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

versus

[2:191] And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

[3:56]  And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.”

29. [4:153] Allah forgave Moses’ people for worshiping calf god, but in [4:48 & 4:116], Allah does not forgive those who worship gods other than him. Which of these statements is true?

[4;153] The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, “Show us Allah outright,” so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.

versus

[4:116] Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray.

30. [5:5] says it is lawful to eat the food of the Jews and Christians, but [6:121] prohibits the eating of the food suggested by disbelievers.

And whoever denies the faith – his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

versus

[6:121] And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].

31. In [Qur’an 3:39], John is a confirmer of the word of Allah, but in [5:46 & 61:6] Jesus is the confirmer of the Word of Allah. Which of the two is the real confirmer?

[3:39] So the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, “Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous.”

versus

[5:46] And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.

32. [Qur’an 2:97] says Angel Gabriel is the one who revealed the Scripture or Qur’an, but in [16:102] it is the Holy Spirit who revealed the Qur’an.

[2:97] Say, “Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel – it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur’an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers.”

versus

[16:102] Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah).

33. (20:109) (34:23) (43:86) intercession will be accepted on Judgment Day, but (2:123) (6:51) (82:19) intercession will not be accepted

[20:109] On that day no intercession shall avail, except the one for whom the Most Beneficent (Allah) has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him.

versus

[2:123] And fear the Day (of Judgment) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped.

34. Fasting is mandatory [2:183] versus [2:184 & 185] where fasting is not mandatory

[2:183] O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous

versus

[2:184] [Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.

35. The Earth was created first before the heavens (2:29), but in (79:27-30) the heavens was created first before the Earth

[2:29] It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

versus

[79:27-30] Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. And after that He spread the earth.

36. No one can produce Quran (17:88), but Satan was able to put his Quran into the mouth of Muhammad (53:19-20 & 22:52).

[17:88] Say, “If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants.”

versus

[53:19-20] So have you considered al-Lat and al-‘Uzza? And Manat, the third – the other one?

[22:52] And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

37. Allah’s day is equal to 1000 years [22:47 & 32:5], while in [70:4] it equals to 50,000 years

[22:47] And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

versus

[70:4] The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.

38. [16:103] says Quran is written in pure Arabic, but the Quran contains a lot of foreign words in reality

[16:103] And We certainly know that they say, “It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet.” The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur’an is [in] a clear Arabic language.

Video: Presently, there are 31 varieties of Arabic Quran

ISLAM is for Arabs Exclusively

Unknown to many non-Arab Muslims, Islam is intended for Arabs alone. According to Allah, They sent a guide to every people or race, and that Muhammad was sent only for Arab race. The reason Allah chose Muhammad to be the messenger of Arab race was for the Arabs to understand the message of Islam clearly since he’s an Arabic speaker.

1. [Q 6:154] “Then we gave Moses the book, complete for him who would do good, an explanation of all things, a guidance and a mercy, so that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.”

COMMENT: This verse says that the book (Tanakh) received by Moses was complete. So the Quran is not a follow-up book of Tanakh, but rather an independent book.

2. [Q 6:155-156] “And this (Quran) is a blessed book which we have revealed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy. “Lest you (pagan Arabs) should say: The book was sent down to the two sects before us (the Jews and the Christians), and for our part, we were in fact unaware of what they studied (because that book was in a different language).

[Al-Jalalayn’s explanation on Quran 6:156]:

We have revealed it, lest you should say, ‘The Scripture was revealed only upon two parties — the Jews and the Christians — before us and we indeed have been unacquainted with their study’, their reading [of the scripture], not knowing any of it, since it is not in our own language.

[Ibn Kathir’s explanation on 6:156]:

(“…and for our part, we were in fact unaware of what they studied.”) meaning: `we did not understand what they said because the revelation was not in our tongue. We, indeed, were busy and unaware of their message,’.

COMMENT: In the verse above, Allah clarify that Their Quran is not sent for the Jews and Christians contrary to the assumption of the Arab pagans. Allah avoided possible complaint from Arabs telling they could not understand Their message since it’s written not in Arabic, so Allah made Their revelations in Arabic beforehand.

3. [Q 12:2] Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand.

COMMENT: In this verse, Allah states the reason why They made the Quran in Arabic, because it is for Muhammad (an Arab man) to understand

4. [Q 13:7] And the disbelievers say: “Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?” You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide.

COMMENT: . . . to every people there is a guide. Allah assigned a warner or guide to every people. It means that other countries or regions have their own messenger respectively as provided by Allah. On the part of Muhammad, he’s sent by Allah as a warner or guide for Arab people only.

5. [Q 14:4] And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

COMMENT: In the above verse, Allah made clear that Their messenger should be speaking the language of his people which is Arabic, so that he can convey the revelations to his people clearly. Thereby, the role of Muhammad being Allah’s messenger is confined only to Arab people.

6. [Q41:44] And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur’an, they would have said, “Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?” Say, “It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure.” And those who do not believe – in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place.

COMMENT: One of the reasons why Allah made the Quran in Arabic was that They were worried that Arabs might complain to Them for inconsistency _for having sent an Arab messenger to them yet the message he brought is not Arabic. Therefore Allah made it consistent beforehand, They sent an Arab messenger with Arabic revelations to avoid possible criticism coming from Arab people.

7. [Q 42:7] “And thus we have revealed to you an Arabic Quran, so that you may warn the mother of the cities (Makkah) and those around her.”

COMMENT: The very reason why Allah revealed Quran in Arabic to Muhammad is for him to warn the people of Mecca (Arabian City) and its surrounding (Arabian) Cities.

8. [Q 43:3] “Verily, We made it a Quran in Arabic so that you may be able to understand”

COMMENT: Why the Quran made in Arabic by Allah? The answer is “so that the Arab people may able to understand”. Obviously, the Quran is only intended for the people who speak Arabic, and not for other people who do not speak and understand Arabic.

9. [Q 44:58] And indeed, We have eased the Qur’an in your tongue that they might be reminded.

COMMENT: In the verse above, Allah tell Muhammad why They expressed Their revelation in Arabic. Their reason is to ease the (Arabic) tongue of Muhammad in uttering (Arabic) message to the (Arabic) people.

10. [Q 62:2] He is (Allah) who has raised among the unlettered people a messenger from among themselves”

COMMENT: This verse says that Allah made Muhammad as a messenger from among themselves (Arab community) and for themselves (Arab community).

11. [Q 109:6] For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.

COMMENT: Here, Allah declared that He has no care about the religion of other people, that His religion (Islam) is only for Himself (the god of Arabs). This verse proves strongly that Islam is not for all people but Arabs alone.
