God created all things through His Word. According to the Bible, God is Spirit (John 4:24), and whatever proceeds from God shares His divine nature. Therefore, the Word of God is not a mere spoken sound or created message, but the very expression and revelation of God Himself. For this reason, Jesus is called the “Word of God” (John 1:1; Revelation 19:13), and He is also identified with the Spirit of God in various biblical passages. The Scriptures consistently teach that God brought all things into existence through His Word. Since the Word of God is divine, eternal, and active in creation, the Bible attributes the creation of the heavens, the earth, and all living things to Him. The following biblical verses demonstrate that the “Word of God” or “Spirit of God” is the Creator, revealing the divine power and nature of Christ.
