God created all things through His Word and Spirit. From the beginning, God’s Word was with Him and was active in the work of creation. When humanity fell into sin, God revealed His plan of redemption by declaring His Word to be His Son (Psalm 2:7) and appointing Him as His Firstborn (Psalm 89:27). In the fullness of time, the Word entered the world and dwelt in a human body, becoming flesh among mankind. The Son of God was manifested to save the world from sin and death, offering Himself as a sacrifice for humanity (Hebrews 2:14). His earthly ministry, death, and resurrection were the fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose. The following biblical passages provide evidence that Jesus, the Word of God, existed long before creation and actively participated in God’s divine work from the very beginning.
