Beelzebul, also spelled Beelzebub or Baalzebub. In Catholicism, He is one of the seven deadly demons representing Gluttony and Envy. The seven deadly demons are the causers of seven deadly sins.

Beelzebul is a name that appears several times in the Bible and is closely associated with Satan and the kingdom of darkness. During the ministry of Jesus Christ, some of His opponents falsely accused Him of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebul, whom they referred to as the prince of demons. This accusation led Jesus to explain the nature of His divine authority and the inconsistency of Satan working against his own kingdom. The biblical references to Beelzebul provide important insights into spiritual warfare, the reality of demonic forces, and the power of God over evil. They also reveal the unbelief and hardness of heart of those who rejected Jesus despite witnessing His miracles and mighty works. In this topic, we will examine the key Bible verses that mention Beelzebul, explore the historical and biblical background of this name, and understand what these passages teach about the authority of Jesus Christ, the kingdom of God, and the ongoing conflict between good and evil.
