Muhammad had sex with a child

Most Muslims would tell you, “it’s not true that prophet Muhammad pbuh had sex with a child, Aisha had menses when Muhmmad consummated their marriage”. But numerous hadiths prove that this shameful story is true. In fact, the Muslims follow the footsteps of their prophet for they allow child marriage in their society. How could you deny your prophet having sex with a child yet you practice marrying a child? According to Haddiths, Muhammad had sex with Aisha at the age of 9, the same age where he took Aisha (with dolls in her hand) from her parents and brought her to his house. The playing with dolls and similar images is forbidden in Islam, but it was allowed for Aisha at that time because she was not yet reached the age of puberty. 

1. [Sahih al-Bukhari 3894]

Narrated Aisha:  The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.

2. [Sahih al-Bukhari 3896/Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 236] Narrated Hisham’s father: Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married ‘Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.

3. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5081/Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 18] Narrated by ‘Ursa: The Prophet asked Abu Bakr for ‘Aisha’s hand in marriage. Abu Bakr said “But I am your brother.” The Prophet said, “You are my brother in Allah’s religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is lawful for me to marry.”

4. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5134/Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 65] Narrated ‘Aisha:  that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that ‘Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death).” 

5. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5158] Narrated ‘Ursa: The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with ‘Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

6. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5236/Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 163] Narrated ‘Aisha: The Prophet was screening me with his Rida’ (garment covering the upper part of the body) while I was looking at the Ethiopians who were playing in the courtyard of the mosque. (I continued watching) till I was satisfied. So you may deduce from this event how a little girl (who has not reached the age of puberty) who is eager to enjoy amusement should be treated in this respect.

7. [Sahih al-Bukhari 5160/Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 90] Narrated Aisha: When the Prophet married me, my mother came to me and made me enter the house (of the Prophet) and nothing surprised me but the coming of Allah’s Apostle to me in the forenoon. 

8. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6130] Narrated ‘Aisha: I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah’s Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for ‘Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13). 

9. [Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310] A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.

10. [Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3311] ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and he was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old. 

COMMENT: This Hadith tells us that Muhammad brought Aisha to his house at the age of nine, the same age when he had intercoursed her (Sahih al-Bukhari 3896). Why Aisha was permitted to bring or play dolls despite that it’s forbidden in Islam? Because she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty (Sahih al-Bukhari 6130). So the defense of the Muslims that Aisha had menstruated already before their marriage with Muhammad is a complete lie. 

11. [Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 5981] A’isha reported that she used to play with dolls in the presence of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and when her playmates came to her they left (the house) because they felt shy of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), whereas Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) sent them to her.

12. [Sahih Muslim 1422 a]

‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:  Allah’s Messenger married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine. She further said: We went to Medina and I had an attack of fever for a month, and my hair had come down to the earlobes. Umm Ruman (my mother) came to me and I was at that time on a swing along with my playmates. She called me loudly and I went to her and I did not know what she had wanted of me. She took hold of my hand and took me to the door, and I was saying: Ha, ha (as if I was gasping), until the agitation of my heart was over. She took me to a house, where had gathered the women of the Ansar. They all blessed me and wished me good luck and said: May you have share in good. She (my mother) entrusted me to them. They washed my head and embellished me and nothing frightened me. Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) came there in the morning, and I was entrusted to him.

13. [Sahih Muslim 1422 b] ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:  Allah’s Apostle married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.

14. [Sahih Muslim 1422 c] ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle married her when she was seven years old, and he was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old. 

15. [Sunan Abi Dawud 2121] Narrated ‘Aishah:  The Messenger of Allah married me when I was seven years old. The narrator Sulaiman said: or Six years. He had intercourse with me when I was nine years old.

16. [Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 4914]

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin:  When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) arrived after the expedition to Tabuk or Khaybar (the narrator is doubtful), the draught raised an end of a curtain which was hung in front of her store-room, revealing some dolls which belonged to her. He asked: What is this? She replied: My dolls. Among them he saw a horse with wings made of rags, and asked: What is this I see among them? She replied: A horse. He asked: What is this that it has on it? She replied: Two wings. He asked: A horse with two wings? She replied: Have you not heard that Solomon had horses with wings? She said: Thereupon the Apostle of Allah (peace be_upon_him) laughed so heartily that I could see his molar teeth.

17. [Sunan Ibn Majah 1876]

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six years old. Then we came to Al-Madinah and settled among Banu Harith bin Khazraj. I became ill and my hair fell out, then it grew back and became abundant. My mother Umm Ruman came to me while I was on an Urjuhah with some of my friends, and called for me. When I got my breath back, she took some water and wiped my face and head, and led me into the house. There were some of women of the Ansar inside the house, and they said: ‘With the blessings and good fortune (from Allah).’ (My mother) handed me over to them and they tidied me up. And suddenly I saw the Messenger of Allah in the morning. And she handed me over to him, and I was at that time, nine years old.”  

18. [Sunan Ibn Majah 1877] It was narrated that Abdullah said: “The Prophet married Aishah when she was seven years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine, and he passed away when she was eighteen.

19. [Sunan Abu-Dawud Book 41, Number 4915, Number 4916, & Number 4917] Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) married me when I was seven or six. When we came to Medina, some women came. according to Bishr’s version: Umm Ruman came to me when I was swinging. They took me, made me prepared and decorated me. I was then brought to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him), and he took up cohabitation with me when I was nine. She halted me at the door, and I burst into laughter.

20. [Sunan an-Nasa’i 3255] It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine.

21. [Sunan an-Nasa’i 3378] It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah married me when I was six, and consummated the marriage with me when I was nine, and I used to play with dolls.”
