1. [Job 15:14] “What is man, that he should be pure, or he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

2. [Job 29:14] I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. 

3. [Psalm 141:5] Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

16. [Isaiah 59:16-17] He saw that there was no man; He was amazed that there was no one to intercede. So His own arm brought salvation, and His own righteousness sustained Him. He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on His head; He put on garments of vengeance and wrapped Himself in a cloak of zeal.

23. [Jeremiah 5:1] Walk around the streets of Jerusalem. Look around, and think about these things. Search the city squares. See if you can find anyone who does what is right and seeks the truth. Then I will forgive Jerusalem.

24. [Ezekiel 3:20] Now if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die in his sin, and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. And I will hold you responsible for his blood.

28. [Ezekiel 14:14] then even if these three men–Noah, Daniel, and Job–were in it, their righteousness could deliver only themselves, declares the Lord GOD.

30. [Daniel 9:22-24] “Seventy weeks have been determined concerning your people and your holy city to put an end to rebellion, to bring sin to completion, to atone for iniquity, to bring in perpetual righteousness, to seal up the prophetic vision, and to anoint a most holy place.

31. [Daniel 12:3] Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.

32. [Zephaniah 2:3] Seek the LORD, All you humble of the earth Who have carried out His ordinances; Seek righteousness, seek humility Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of the LORD’S anger.

QUOTED FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT 

1. [Acts 7:52] Which of the prophets did your fathers fail to persecute? They even killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One. And now you are His betrayers and murderers

2. [Romans 3:25] God presented Him as an atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand.

3. [Romans 10:10] For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

4. [Galatians 3:5-6] So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
