The Father and The Son

He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor. I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.

[1 Chronicles 17:12-14]

The Muslims keep telling that God has no Son, that Jesus is only human. The teaching about the Father and the Son is derived from the books in Tanakh which is ahead of Jesus thousands to hundreds of years. Tanakh foretells the arrival of the Son on Earth who is God himself. This shows that the worship of the Son was not fabricated later after Jesus’ ascension as alleged by the Muslims and some christian sects. Below are numerous biblical verses proving the existence of the Father and His Son (Jesus).

Quoted from Tanakh/Old Testament

1. [Proverbs 30:4] Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his Son? Surely you know!

17. [John 3:17-18] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
