List Of Popes From St. Peter Down To Pope Francis

The Catholic Church is the only Church of the world that can trace Its root to Peter (originally named “Simon”). Jesus called Simon as “petros”, Greek word for “rock” because He made him as the foundation of His Church. Jesus assured Peter that the gates of hell cannot overcome His Church (Matthew 16:18). This means that the Catholic Churh cannot be corrupted as alleged by the anti-Catholics. Yes, there are some people inside the kingdom who are corrupt, but the kingdom itself is as is. The ‘gates of hell’ are kingdoms or religions that are built by men who have no authority from God. Since they have no authority from God to build His kingdom, therefore these gates that they built are coming from the opposing Force. If you enter these gates, you will end up in hell that’s why they are called ‘gates of Hell’ by Jesus. God established only one Kingdom or Church, and His Son (Jesus) was the only one He authorized to build His kingdom on earth (1 Chronicles 17:12-14). Peter was one of the disciples of Jesus whom he personally chose to take care of his flock;

[Matthew 16:18] And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

[John 21:16] Jesus asked him again, a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter answered him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus told him, “Take care of my sheep”

In other word, Jesus installed Peter as the leader of His Church. Below is the long list of the heads or popes of Jesus’ Church from Peter down to Francis (from year 32 to 2013), proving that the Roman Catholic Church is the true Church.

He studied at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, took up Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. The fear of death knocked on his mind when he aquired 3 lumps on his neck in 2010. He realized that the most important thing to a man is eternal life. He found out that the Bible is consistent in its teaching and backed up by spiritual and physical evidences. Today, he is happy knowing that there is a God who will receive him in the afterlife. And he wants to share this discovery to all people who are willing to accept this good news.
